Postdoctoral Researcher Dr. Pako Chalkidis, lead for TRACE’s Greek case study, took part in the workshop Queer Pharma – Experimentations in Bodies, Substances, Affects at the Schwules Museum Berlin & Freie Universität Berlin.
Organised by Max Schnepf & Hansjörg Dilger, the event brought together researchers exploring the intersections of queer lives, medical and pharmaceutical practices and substances, and affective worlds. Pako presented his paper “Side Effects, Gender Affects: Hormonal Treats and Tricks” and took the opportunity to visit the archive with Birgit Bosold, from the Board of Directors of the Schwules Museum.
