TRACE Research Manager Pedro Fidalgo participated at the XIII Congress of the Portuguese Sociological Association “Democracias à Prova: Riscos e Incertezas”, at University of the Azores, 8 – 11 July 2025.

Pedro presented the paper Agroqueer: Exploring Queer Experiences and Policy in Rural Portugal, contributing to the discussion on sexuality, gender, and rurality. 

As co-coordinator of the Thematic Section Sexualidade e Género alongside Professors Cristina Pereira Vieira (UAb) and Sandra Saleiro (ISCTE),  Pedro was also responsible for the organisation and chairing of the Thematic Section’s panels during the Congress.
