Ana Cristina Santos (TRACE’s PI) presented Project TRACE at the Centro Interdisciplinar de Estudos de Género [nterdisciplinary Centre for Gender Studies]’s III International Congress in Lisbon, dedicated to the topics of “Gender, Feminist and Women’s Studies: Knowledge, Public Policies and Social Justice” on the 1 of February 2024 .

This was an opportunity to discuss the project with an audience of scholars, activists, and policymakers committed to gender equality and social justice, bringing attention to the life stories and embodiment of older LGBTQI+ adults, and emphasizing the necessity of their inclusion in equality and age-related policies in Southern Europe.
