The documentary film Outlasting — Living Archives of Older Queers, co-directed by Ana Cristina Santos and Nuno Barbosa, premiered at Queer Porto 2025, as highlighted in national portuguese newspaper Público.

The article presents the film within the festival’s 2025 programme, which extends the theme of queer resistance and features works addressing memory, ageing, and political urgency. Developed within project TRACE – Tracing Queer Citizenshuip Over Time funded by the European Reseach Council (ERC), Outlasting brings academic research into dialogue with documentary cinema.
